King George V1 chase Clan Des Obeaux ( Neil, Steve), Cyrname (Peej, Steve, Tony)took
their chance, Clan Des Obeaux Tracked
leaders, went 2nd 11th, challenged going well 3 out, led next, soon clear, winning
very easily by 21 l. He gets 55.6 points.
Cyrname, Tracked leader, led 5th, went left and headed 2
out, soon no chance with winner, finished tired 2nd beaten 21 l. He gets 12 points.
At Sedgefield in the 2m 3f handicap chase Mah Mate Bob ( Bob),
went to post, Prominent, went 2nd 3rd, led 10th, ridden on long run-in, ran on
well, winning by 1 ¾ l. He gets 29.2 points.

Alan King is
keeping his fingers crossed Sceau Royal can make the most of Altior's absence in the Ladbrokes
Desert Orchid Chase.
King told the
Punter, "I wish it would stop raining. We all know he doesn't want soft
ground, but he's ready for another run. We've been happy with him since
Sandown. This isn't his ground, but he's in good form and we'll give it a
roll."
