Triumph Hurdle favourite Landofhopeandglory The talented Flat performer stretched
his unbeaten record over jumps to three in the Bar One Racing Juvenile Hurdle
at Fairyhouse on Sunday but having only made his hurdling debut a month ago,
O'Brien is still considering whether to go to the well once more over the
Festive period.
He said: "He's now three from three over hurdles. He won
nicely and came through the race pretty well. "Barry (Geraghty) was happy
with him and they sprinted down the last two up the straight which wouldn't
have played to our horse's strengths but it was nice that he got away with it

Hennessy Gold Cup hero Native River looks like taking his chance in the Coral Welsh National after
a change of heart from Colin Tizzard
In the immediate aftermath of the Newbury contest, in which the
six-year-old maintained Tizzard's fine run of form this season with a
half-length defeat of Carole's Destrier, the red-hot handler appeared cool on
the prospect of heading to Chepstow for the second-season chaser's next start,
saying: "He's a stayer but he might just be a bit better than that."
However, the December 27 marathon is back on the agenda after
Tizzard told the Punter "We're now very keen to go for the
Welsh National.
"He's gone up 8lb for winning the Hennessy and only has a
4lb penalty to carry at Chepstow. The chances are we'll run him and we're
certainly aiming that way at the moment
