Report

We start at Cheltenham on New Years Day where in the 2m 4f novice hurdle Champers On Ice ( Bob, Lee), took his chance, made all shaken up approaching last, hung right flat, driven out to win by a neck. He gets 14.5 points


At  Sandown on Saturday in the 2m grade 1 Tolworth hurdle, Yorkhill ( Bob,  Lee), went to post, occasionally jumped left, held up in 4th, progress to challenge 2 out, still going easily, led last, ridden out and kept on, winning by 2 ¼ l. He gets 16.6 points.

At Plumpton on Sunday, in the 2m 1f novice chase L’Ami Serge ( Lee, Steve), went to post, made all, readily went clear before 2 out, winning un challenged by 27 l. He gets 11.2 points.

At Naas in the 2m 4f grade 1 novice hurdle Bellshill ( Peej), took his chance, chased leaders in 3rd, took closer order 7th, and went 2nd on outer from 3 out, close 2nd  2 out where slight mistake led travelling well and went clear before last, where mistake, ridden out to win comfortably by 5l. He gets 52.6 points.

In the 2m novice chase Shaneshill ( Tony), took his chance, tracked leader till disputed after 2nd, not fluent 3rd, close 2nd on outer before 5th, led narrowly 5 out, till joined before 3 out, going best when bad mistake 2 out, led narrowly last, and ridden clear run in, winning by 4 ½ l. He gets 27 points.
