At Kempton yesterday in the 2m grade 1 Christmas hurdle Verdana Blue ( Cod, Steve), took her chance, Held up in rear, headway after 3 out, ridden next, went second between last 2, stayed on strongly run in to lead post, winning by a short head. She gets 56.1 points.

In the 3m Grade 1 King George V1 Chase, Clan Des Obeaux ( Cliff, Steve), went to post,  Mid-division, headway 5 out, challenged on bit 3 out, led approaching last, ridden out, winning by 1 ½ l. He gets 64.1 points.


At Chepstow today in the 3m 5f handicap chase, Elegant Escape ( Steve), took his chance, racked leaders in 4th, mistake 12th, closed into 2nd going well 5 out, led 2 out, soon ridden and jumped well last, driven out when strongly pressed by rival inside final furlong, kept on strongly, winning by 1 ¼ l. He gets 83.2 points.

At Kempton Altior (All), took his chance in the 2m grade 2 chase, Wore ear plugs in prelims, jumped well, tracked leading pair, close 2nd approaching 8th, led going well 3 out, clear next, winning very easily by19l. He gets 26.1 points.

At Wetherby in the 2m novice hurdle, Northern Soul ( Peej) took his chance, Always prominent, challenging from 3 out, led last, continually pressed run-in, found extra and stayed on well towards finish, winning by ¾ l. He gets 46 points.

We start at Cheltenham on Friday where in the 2m 1f novice hurdle Elixir Du Nutz (Neil), went to post, Made all, ridden flat, stayed on well, winning  comfortably by 1 ¾ l. He gets 23.8 points.

On Saturday in the 2m 4f grade 3 handicap chase Frodon ( Cod) went to post, Led until 8th, led 10th, headed 12th, led again 13th, 3 lengths clear flat, ridden out, winning by 1 ¼ l. He gets 90 points.

We start at Exeter on Friday where in the 2m 3f novice chase Defi Du Seuil ( Bob), went  to post, Chased leaders, led 2 out, ran on well, winning by 3 ½ l. He gets 57.6 points.

At  Sandown on Saturday in the 2m grade 1 Tingle Creek Chase Altior ( All), took his chance,  Tracked leaders, mistake 2nd, went 2nd 4 out, every chance 2 out, led approaching last, ran on strongly, winning by 4l. He gets 51.5 points.


On  Sunday at Huntingdon in the 2m novice hurdle Brewinupastorm ( Bob), took his chance, Tracked leader, not fluent 3 out, driven to lead next, ran on strongly, winning by 4l. He gets 23.6 points.
At Punchestown in the 2m 4f maiden hurdle Tornado Flyer ( Peej), went to post, chased leaders, raced keenly, jumped on occasions, not fluent 4 out, switched left and in 3rd going well 2 out, improved to lead narrowly last, pushed clear flat, winning by 2  ¼ l. He gets 22.6 points.
In the 2m 4f grade 1 John Durkan Memorial chase Min ( Peej, Tony) took his chance, chaded leaders in 3rd, raced keenly, going well in 3rd 3 out, not much room 2 out, where slightly bumped rival, , switched right, improved on inner and going best approaching last, ridden out run in , winning by 1 ½ l. He gets 26.6 points.

We start at Newbury on Friday, where in the 2m 4f novice hurdle where Kateson ( Neil) went to post, Chased leaders, 2nd after 4 out, led next, 2 lengths ahead last, kept on well run-in, winning by 1 ¾ l. He gets 24.2 points.

On Saturday at Newbury in the 2m 7f grade 2 novice chase Santini ( Bob, Martin, Steve), took his chance, Held up in 5th on inside, closer tracking leaders 7th, mistake and lost place 11th, rallied into 3rd again before 4 out, 2nd travelling well 2 out, 1 length down and not fluent last, led run-in, stayed on, winning by 4l. He gets 16.9 points.

In the 2m listed handicap hurdle Global Citizen ( Cliff), went to post, Raced freely, made all, 2 1/2 lengths up last, held on gamely, driven out, winning by ½ l. He gets 70.8 points
In the 3m 2f handicap chase Elegant Escape ( Steve), took his chance, Chased leaders, pushed along from 13th, ridden into 3rd after 4 out, stayed on into 2nd when awkward last but never any threat to winner, 2nd beaten 10l . He gets 24 points.

At Bangor in the 2m 4f  Beginners Chase, Jerrysback ( Bob), took his chance, Jumped right, mid-division, headway into 3rd 3 out, pushed along to close on leaders before 2 out, driven last where left in 2 lengths 2nd, pushed along to lead last 100yds, winning quite cleverly quite cleverly by 1l. He gets 60 points.

At Newcastle in the 2m grade 1 Fighting Fifth hurdle, Buveur D’Air (not Cliff),
, Tracked leader, always travelling well, led approaching when mistake last, quickened clear, winning impressively by 8l. He gets 51.9 points.

At Plumpton on Monday in the 2m 1f novice chase Kalashnikov ( Bob, Cliff, Steve), went to post, Pressed leader, led 9th, drew clear after 3 out, in no danger after, unextended,winning very easily by 18l. He gets11 .1 points

We start at Ascot wherein the 2m 5f grade 2 chase Politolouge ( Bob, Martin, Steve) took his chance, tracked leading pair, went 2nd 10th, challenged 4 out, going well, led before 3 out, shaken up after 2 out, pressed when not fluent last, driven and stayed on well flat , winning by ½ l. He gets 26.8 points.

In the 2m 3f grade 2 hurdle If The Cap Fits ( Bob, Cliff, Peej), went to post, held up in 4th, pushed along after 7th, ridden 2 out, and still 4th, closed before last, driven flat and stayed on strongly, winning by 1 ½ l. He gets 51.6 points.

At Haydock in the 3m 1f grade 1 Lancashire Chase Bristol De Mai ( Neil, Steve), went to post, led to 4th, led again 6th, headed 13th, remained clear 2nd, led again 4 out, extended advantage steadily, driven out flat , ran on well winning by 4l. He gets 31.1 points.
