News

This week end will decide the Championship and it looks like being a cracking day at Ascot. In the Champion stakes, Barney Roy, Cracksman, Ulysses, Rhododendron, are likely runners, In the mile Churchill and Al Wukair, hold entries in the Fillies and Mares, Jourmey, Coronet, Rhododendron and Seventh Heaven could go to post.

Neil Bob and Peej have undertaken a review of the jumps competition as I think we have all felt it is to loaded at the back end with the Cheltenham and Aintree festivals. As a result, there is now a bonus race every Saturday, which should enhance the TV viewing and hopefully reward more horses, especially those out side the top few.

As a result, the scoring of bonus races has been revised for single pick horses, the scoring will now be double points for the race, as per normal, but only a single addition of points for the single pick. Tote bonus points will be added as now. So a 20 point race will be doubled to 40, but if a single pick wins , it will only receive 20 more points, plus the tote points.
This is the new bonus list ( Dates are last season, as a guide in some cases
